Sewing feathers onto fabric

Sewing feathers onto to a fabric base has been done for centuries by native cultures. It also became fashionable with Europeans in the 18th and 19th Centuries. I learned from Stephanie Flora, she learned the traditional Hawaiian methods. We have done three projects together click on the picture of the project to go to a “How-to” pages:
