I’m posting these photos of ~20 museum examples of hats/bonnets that illustrate 3 things, 1) jet beads as part of the decoration, 2) were tagged as evening hats by the museum and 3) cover the time period of our two hats. There are fairly few in the early years and many more in the later years. Many of the later ones are the exact shape of the 1885-95 hat the others I chose show to show the variety of ornaments used to decorate the hats. I feel that any sort of decorative element would span the entire time period. I hope they are useful and help you pick what you want to decorate your hat with in class.
