This is the women’s version of the men’s Italian bonnet. It is suppose to be a mini hat. So when you get it, make up the brim in cardboard and check if it’s what you want. I also suggest that you check some Spanish Court paintings of the period to get an idea how it should fit. There are also some gauntlet patterns that you can sew onto modern driving gloves to make period looking gloves.
