My husband’s Grandmother used to make many of these along with embroidered tea towels as a fun raiser for her group. We have 6 or 7 of them and have used them to death 6 or 7. We like them because they fold right down the center which helps cover both your fingers and your thumb. When I wanted to make some as gifts this year I not only had to reverse engineer them but I decided to enlarge them about 15%. I hope you enjoy making and using them. They go together quickly except for the hand sewing of the piping on the edge. You might want to watch a costume movie or two while finishing them.
