To add a little wimsey to your strawwork you can make a Butterfly. It just takes four straw splints, two long straw threads, a comb, pins, large eyed needle, clips and a fine needle and thread.

These are the wrappings for the left hand upper wing. You will need to make a second one backwards from this. If it helps you can print a second copy of this figure but flip it horizontally (the text will be backwards but the drawings will be correct for a right side wing.
